When Henry, another childhood friend who lives in Singapore came to Jakarta, he told me how much he missed Indonesian cuisine and must go local for lunch.
Me : Let's have some weeds in Acehnese style...
Henry : Haaaa?! Seriously?! Isn't it Illegal?!

So we dragged him to this old restaurant, famous for legally serving marijuana or cannabis leaves since 1975. Cool rite? We were greeted with so many plates...

These are two signature dishes you must "die die" try in here :

The Fish Head Curry (Gulai Kepala Ikan)
Smothered in a rich yellow cream gravy. Not spicy, but with a very savoury and satisfying taste. Take a bite and enjoy the experience of culinary euphoria.. Rp 130.500

The Fried Pigeons (Burung Punai Goreng)
All-time favorite and they are always so consistent with the quality. The tiny lil' fried pigeons are so cripsy on the outside. With herbs and spices all fused perfectly, sour-salty-seasoning, chicken-like taste. Rp14.000

Having these two great dishes combined... Really made my day.

The other domestic delicacies were PERFECT too... We scooped up the food with bare hands and delivered the goods swiftly to our mouths. Too bad they were out of cannabis leaves that day.... Hikssss no weeds... They've been out of stock for 4 days.
If you are damn lucky to find the weeds in this restaurant, don't forget to pour the sour cannabis leaves (Asam ganja) as an extra condiment.

Result : He is laughing a lot too... Hmm.. Made me wonder... If marijuana is really out of stock Wkwkwk.. Coz this guy seemed to have a zing..

I sneaked out into their kitchen..

Every waiter in this restaurant is capable to carry 8 plates on one arm.

Huff I'm sure ate a lot... Tam-chiak (greedy) eater.
Nevermind... EAT..!!! Coz tomorrow u might die-T... Hahahahaha..
